Install Risoni on iPhone

Wait for your approved invitation and the release notes. The iPhone beta 0.1 (5) is approved by Apple for TestFlight. Invitations are supplied privately; confirm supported devices and the upgrade instructions before installing.

Get an invitation

Request iPhone access through the person who invited you. Adam must approve each tester before a TestFlight invitation is sent. Contact details and invitations are shared privately; this public help site does not grant access.

Never send a password, verification code or recovery key. For a shared kitchen, the beta coordinator may need to confirm which Apple Account you use for iCloud. That account can differ from the email used for TestFlight.

Install with TestFlight

Once the beta coordinator confirms your access:

  1. Install Apple's TestFlight app on the iPhone you will use.
  2. Open your approved invitation on that iPhone and accept it.
  3. In TestFlight, select Risoni, read What to Test, then tap Install.
  4. Open Risoni and check that the name and tomato icon match the invitation.

The invitation and TestFlight show which devices can install the available version. If no version is available or it has expired, ask the beta coordinator rather than deleting Risoni.

First launch

  1. Begin in Local kitchen with a sample or a disposable recipe.
  2. Try switching between Recipes, Plan and Shopping.
  3. Read the beta limits, especially timer alerts and shared kitchens.
  4. Keep your original recipe exports. A beta library should not be your only copy.

You can use Local kitchen without setting up sharing. Choose a photo or file when you want to import it. The optional Add to Reminders action asks separately for Reminders access.

Update without uninstalling

Read the release notes before each beta update, then update through TestFlight without uninstalling first.

If recipes look missing afterward, check the selected kitchen and clear any search or filter. Contact the beta coordinator before restoring a backup, reinstalling or deleting anything.
